Pumpkin Patch with Mimi & Pawpaw

My parents came to visit last week, and it was so much fun! We visited Lyman Orchards where they have apple picking, pumpkin patches and a specialty market/cafe outdoor area to eat out at. It was a really pretty day.  We enjoyed sipping on our apple cider, eating fresh kettle corn along with an apple strudel dessert-yum!  None of us really cared to pick apples or get a pumpkin (go figure!)...we pretty much went just so that we could get pictures, take in the scenery and to eat the food! Mission accomplished. :)

Later that evening after our pumpkin patch festivities, my parents watched Tatum and Zac & I went on our first date in 6 months.  We felt like teenagers again!

 I was just a little over 2 months pregnant with Tatum.  I remember us saying that the next time we come, we'll have our baby in tow. :)

Fall Trip Home to Texas

Tatum Kate & I took a trip home to Texas and as always it was so nice to see everyone!  

Daddy saying bye to his girl!  This was a crazy morning.  We missed our EARLY flight out of LGA in NYC so we left the house in a rush!  Another cherry to add to the morning was that I had ZERO pacifiers on me once we got through security. I realized that I had left one pacifier at home, one in the car and that airports do not sell pacifiers (although they should!).  Thankfully, TK and I had the whole row to ourselves, so with a lot of praying--Tatum did great and mama finally relaxed!

My mom flew back to CT with TK & me and I was SO thankful because we ended up having a hour delay once we were all boarded.  She was a lot of help with a busy baby!
Zachary was sure glad to see his girls & we were happy to be home with him!

Tatum Kate {6 months}

October Days

October was a fun-filled month for us!  Pretty fall weather, a trip home to Texas, my parents visiting & next week Tatum will have first Halloween!  She's going to be a ballerina. :)  The winters might be brutal here, but at least the falls are really pretty.  We've tried to soak up the last days of being able to enjoy the outdoors.  

This particular Sunday the weather was perfect so we drove to Brandford and got coffee at a little coffee shop called, Common Grounds.  It was the perfect fall day!
