3 Year Anniversary Festivities

Well, I guess it's safe to say I'm not the greatest at keeping up with these posts this summer! I will try and do better. Here we go!

On June 26th, Zac & I celebrated our 3 year wedding anniversary. The weekend before, Zac planned us a weekend in NYC.  It was our first trip to NYC since we moved to New Haven, but not our first time to see the city.  We walked a lot, drank Starbucks, ate A LOT of pizza and ice cream and roamed the city! We went to Central Park, Ground Zero and Times Square to name a few.  Here are some pics...

A little tired, but we made the early train to NYC
First stop...H&M! Zac-taking a pic of a Pelli building
Checked into our hotel!
Central Park
We went to see Newsies on Broadway. It was really good. I think I would go see Broadway shows all the time if I could.
Did I mention that Zac models on the side?
Dinner before the show

On the actual day of our anniversary we continued to celebrate!  Panera was opened up downtown and was having a "soft" grand-opening.  This meant free food!  The morning of, Zac surprised me with a latte and bagels.  We later met up at Panera for lunch because who wouldn't want free lunch?? That night Zac surprised me with dinner at a place downtown called, Barcelona. It is a Spanish tapas restaurant and it was SO good and a lot of fun!
3rd Anniversary! 2013
2nd Anniversary! 2012
1st Anniversary! 2011
I am so proud to be Zac’s wife- I love him so much!  He’s my best friend and has been for 9 years.   He extends grace to me daily, very thoughtful and is sensitive to my little ole’ heart.  He provides for us and is the hardest worker I know.  He loves Jesus and strives to honor Him in all that he does.  He never looks for ways to be noticed, but has a quiet confidence about him that I have always admired.  He’s a natural leader.  He is wise and humble.  He’s quick to admit when he’s wrong and to ask for forgiveness.  He can fix almost anything and everything, a talented and excellent architect, and does the BEST impressions of people…he makes me laugh, a lot.  I love you.  xox
